Day One
9:00 am - Complimentary Hospitality Suite opens for early arrivals to DC at the Washington Dulles Airport Marriott.
3:30 pm – Group meets at Washington, DC Dulles Airport; Every traveler will receive a flight gift bag
5:40 pm South African Air flight departs from Washington, D.C. Dulles Airport
Day Two
Arrive at Kotoka International Airport in Ghana
Transportation from airport to United Bank of Africa for currency exchange before going to Hotel via SUVs;
Relax and Recuperate from the flight.
**In the evening, we will have a meet and greet with a welcome dinner and cocktails in the hotel. Afterwards enjoy our meet and greet game night.
Day Three
**Group Breakfast Buffet at Hotel
Day Trip to Kumasi - Home of the Ashanti and Your Own Naming Ceremony
Day Four (August) - For our New Year's Eve Travelers the activity will change. We will update you as we get closer.
**Group Breakfast Buffet at Hotel
Grab your bathing suits and beach gear and let’s head out to the famous and entertaining Labadi Beach for a day at the beach and bonfire; Enjoy horseback riding, lounge in the sun, hang out at the bar, which includes hookah bars in the smoking areas. After the beach, we’ll head over to Karoke Night at Champs Sports Bar, or partake in the Live Band at our hotel.
Day Five
**Group Breakfast Buffet at Hotel
Accra City Tour – W.E.B. DuBois Pan African Center and his final resting place| We will drive by International Square on our way to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum | Shopping at the Markola Open Market.
We’ll have lunch at a Southern Fried Chicken spot (one of our favorites)
After our busy scenic day, we will return to the Hotel, freshen up and get dressed to impress and spend the evening at West Africa’s tallest rooftop bar, Sky25 where we will dine on a fabulous dinner and cocktails. We will also spend NYE at Sky25.
Day Six
**Group Breakfast Buffet at Hotel
We’re off to a full (and emotional day) as we visit Cape Coast Slave Castle. On the way we will see the “Slave River” where our ancestors were washed before confinement in slave dungeons to await departure to the Americas. At Cape Coast Castle, we’ll visit the “Door of No Return”
Afterwards we’ll have lunch in Cape Coast and head over to the Kakum National Park
That night when we return to the hotel to take our “All-White” Group Photo and head to Twist Nightclub for nightcaps.
Day Seven
**Group Breakfast Buffet at Hotel
**By lunch time, we’ll be in full swing at our own Old School Pool Party and BBQ at our Hotel
Day Eight
**Group Breakfast Buffet at Hotel
We’ll travel to make our donation to a local high school
The rest of the day is on your own so you can prepare for return to the USA
**Farewell cocktails at Sky Bar or Hotel
Day Nine

Leave for Airport for flight departing at 11:35 pm
Day Ten
Arrival back in United States at approximately 6 am
We will have a room at the Washington Dulles Airport for guests who need to book a later flight out of Washington,

Food purchase is very economical in Ghana—a full-course dinner averages about $15-$20 compared to a $50-$60 meal in the USA.
